Biography:
Is the only Spanish artist belongs to the New York School of Abstract Expressionism. He settled in U.S. since he left there in 1936 when civil war broke out in Spain, the early 50's began using the technique of collage. For Jose Maria Parreno, deputy director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Esteban Vicente, Segovia from where the works of the exhibition and author of one of the texts of the catalog, "Esteban Vicente's uniqueness in the context of American abstract expressionism is its best embodiment in the collages.
